We absolutely depend on your genrosity to fully implement our program to protect the Creation and families in Ohio and beyond from the ravages of the fossil industry, including fracking, toxic and radioactive brine and brine disposal wells, plastic manufacturing, and dirty hydrogen development.
- Increased budget, fund raising & grants
- Expanded the Brine Education Program with the hiring of three intern researchers/organizers/presenters
- Established Climate Change Education Committee & developed climate change presentation
- Expanded Distinguished Speaker Series to include international presenters
- Expansion of Anchor Faith Communities to more Ohio locations
- Expanded the Distinguished Speaker Series to a monthly program
- Launched the "Just the FaCTs!" podcast
- Continued the work of the Brine Education Program
- Coordinated a campaign with the Ohio Council of Churches to educate faith communities and others on the hazards of unsafe freight railways carrying hazardous chemicals like vinyl chloride
- Redeveloped the FaCT website
- Expanded the Distinguished Speaker Series
- Retained Judy Comeau-Hart as a development consultant, who secured several grants for FaCT
