Climate Change and the Great Lakes Region: Dr. Donald Wuebbles

On February 10, we invite you to an online presentation by Dr. Donald J. Wuebbles addressing the effects of climate change on human geography, economy, agriculture, ecosystem health, and biodiversity in the Great Lakes region.
Dr. Wuebbles is an expert in atmospheric physics and chemistry and a co-creator of the 2003 report by The Union of Concerned Scientists and the Ecological Society of America, Confronting Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region.
Dr. Wuebbles is currently an Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Science at the University of Illinois. He is also the Director of the Center for Urban Resilience and Environmental Sustainability (CURES) across the University of Illinois system, with over 500 scientific publications related to climate, air quality and the ozone layer. Dr. Wuebbles was a Coordinating Lead Author working with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
In October 2023, Dr. Wuebbles was part of Primer: Climate Change in the Great Lakes, hosted by the Northeast-Midwest Institute. A recording of this webinar can be found here.
