A coalition of Unitarian Universalist organizations and friends are launching an event designed to reimagine climate justice work on the weekend of September 28th and 29th. The Green Team of the Kent United Church of Christ met at the end of June to review progress on our work to become a Creation Justice Church. The Green Team is sponsoring a congregational book study by reading Mary Reynold’s We Are the Ark. A Fall movie series is also being planned, which will begin with a showing and discussion of Kiss the Ground (9/22), followed by Common Ground (10/20).
