The Buckeye Environmental Network is hosting an webinar to share information about Carbon Capture & Storage on Tuesday, April 29 from 6pm to 7:30pm.
Carbon Capture and Storage bills have already been introduced in the Ohio General Assembly - House Bill 170 and Senate Bill 136. Please join us on Tuesday to learn more about CO2 capture and storage as well as bad faith science, policy, and the economics behind this fossil fuel initiative.
Dr. Randi Pokladnik, environmental scientist and chemist, explains the risks this industry poses to the environmental, economic, and public health implications.
We will discuss the state of CO2 capture and storage in Ohio, as well as the issues with the proposed bills that would create permission structures for this industry in the Ohio legislature.
